Barley Kennels (previously the Walthamstow Owners and Welfare Association) is run by a committee of volunteers who all passionately believe that each and every retired greyhound deserves a loving and secure life after racing.

WHAT DO WE DO AND WHY?

Our main function is to provide the best care for the greyhounds after their racing career has ended and to find the greyhounds the right family home so that they can lead a happy and full life. Greyhounds make the perfect family pet and we want to promote this message far and wide.
