Remi's Story

Hello

Remi has settled in v well (toooo well) since we got her Boxing Day 2008. She is v lazy and has to be dragged out for a walk in this cold weather. She sleeps with us on our bed at night and yes its a squash to say the least. Trying to move her is like moving an Ox! She also loves the sofa and will try to force you off it. Think she is spoilt. She is laid back and gets on well with the kids age 2 and 5. She can also be playful, tho not too good when going for your ankles. She is still a bit underweight but we are making progress and her coat is lovely and shiny now. It seems the more settled she is becoming, the more she is testing boundaries ie chasing our poor cat (waiting for cat to clobber Remi one!).

She is making slow but steady progress at doggie classes (at first she refused to do l'ie down' on the hard floor so my husband had to walk her to the carpet!). She walks lovely on the lead and we have been able to not use the muzzle and let her off the lead from the word go. She only chased a bunny once and then gave up. She can be nervous around new people and lots of dogs but is great once she's had a chance to make friends. Luckily she gets on well with my mum's boarder collie cross, which is good as she'll be having her for a week in the summer.

We love her to bits and look forward to many fun times ahead.
