Providing a loving pet home for our greyhounds
Why not consider having one of these wonderful animals as a family pet? Greyhounds make great pets and you will not regret it.
Please call or email us for information or, better still, come to our kennels and see the dogs for yourselves (click here for contact details). Our kennel is open to the public 7 days a week (10am – mid-day) or by appointment at other times.
Gala Fund-raising evenings
We need to raise a considerable amount
of money each year for our re-homing
scheme to continue. With the help
of Walthamstow Stadium, we organise
two major fund-raising events during
the year, which take place on a Saturday
night at the track. We take over the
Goodwood Lounge and Sky TV’s
Jonathon Hobbs hosts a terrific evening
that comprises a 14 race card, sumptuous
buffet dinner, after racing auction,
raffle and other fund raising activities.
You can have a great night out whilst
helping these wonderful animals. Tables
are for 10 people but you can book
as many tickets as you wish. Ticket
prices for the function in the Goodwood
Lounge are set at £40 each and
early booking is recommended.
On these Gala Evenings, each of the 14 races is sponsored for £300 upwards. This is your chance to name a race which is shown
in the programme and the racing post
and to also present a trophy on the
track to the winning connections with
all money going to the charity! Also,
each individual greyhound is nominated
for £10 (nominator of all 14
race winners receive a bottle of bubbly).
We are looking for both race sponsors
and dog nominators. There is also
an auction after racing
and we welcome any unique items, which we could include in the auction such as signed football memoribilia, tickets for events and shows etc. Please click here to contact us to request that the committee contact you for information regarding any aspect of the evening.

Ryan-our
sponsor dog
Ryan, a handsome blue dog, is
unable to settle in a home environment,
and therefore he lives permanently
in our kennels where he is settled
and content. For just £5.00
per month you or your business
could sponsor Ryan to help pay
towards his upkeep. You will receive
a photograph of Ryan and you will
be able to visit the kennels any
morning and take him and some
of his friends for a nice walk!
Your name will also be displayed
at the kennels.
